David Livingstone Christian Academy

Welcome to our secondary school, David Livingstone Christian Academy (DLCA), in Zomba. This is the only distinctly Reformed secondary school in Malawi. Every day, over 300 students receive care, education, and evangelism here, giving them a vision for the future and hopefully enabling them, one day, to stand on their own two feet. Most students live in dorms on the school grounds during the school term. They receive meals, attend catechism class on Saturdays, and church services on Sundays. After secondary school, they can transition to further education to increase their chances of employment and, in the future, a self-sufficient life.

Life at David Livingstone Christian Academy

What would it be like to grow up as a young person in Malawi? To give you an idea, let's spend a day at DLCA with Chifundo. Chifundo is 16 years old and no longer has parents. He completed elementary school at our children's care center in Mbulumbuzi and lived at the orphanage there. He is now in Form 2 (Grade 10) at DLCA. He also lives on-site in a dorm
